Before ownership, before management, and even assisting there was a little girl who was very curious about hair. Hair has always intrigued me, even more so, its power and how it made people feel. No matter how detailed or difficult the hairstyle may appear, I had the urge to figure it out. I wanted to keep growing my knowledge of hair. There was one day, the most important day of the week, and it was called 'Hair Day'. It was the day of the week the family spent the most time with each other. The best conversations were told, from confessionals to the most comical of moments. It was the day you let it all go and prep yourself for the week. An attitude adjustment if you will. 'Hair Day' not only refreshed my appearance but my entire being. I looked good and felt Confident ready for whatever came my way. I wanted to bottle this feeling and give it to the world. I learned any and every position in the hair salon industry and even went back to school to gain licensing as a professional barber. I will continue to grow in the hair industry and make it my first priority to share my knowledge with my client family. After all healthy hair is happy hair and you will always wear your best crown with Shear Confidence.
